They're Smarter than We Are?
No.They're Different. And that's OK.

Remember the old song? It's about play time. Free play time. Like free form crochet. Where nothing you choose to play is wrong. Where you get to try out all that you've learned until it becomes yours. Until it's a part of you. We seem to have expected children to come with a set of directions ever since Dr. Spock. Put down the book. And just listen to the children.

"Look down my rain barrel,
"Slide down my cellar door,
"And we'll be jolly friends forever more."

It takes a village. It takes listening to the other, and wondering as you speak, what the other might say. It takes the Other.

Joathan Lear is the only one of these for which I had memorized the link, so it's the only one up tonight. I'll find the files and put them up tomorrow. They are all already on the site. jeanne
