Making a Felt Flower PinI saw this on HGTV today, a Do It Yourself (DIY) Project. You will need:
- piece of felt - - - in pale pink or white or pale yellow, a color that will look like the base color of a flower.
- scissors
- pattern for flower petal
- paint
- brush for painting petals
- needle and thread - - - to sew petals together
- bead for center of flower
- pearls to sew around bead at center
Discussion Questions Some questions that might help us find a theme for our flower:
- What color did you make your flower?
- What does that color say to you?
- Does the flower make you think of anyone you know?
- Can you imagine that person with your flower?
- If we made another flower like this one, do you think you might give this flower to that person?
- What do you think the flower might say to that person?
