Dear subscriber,
Today I would like to inform you about some texts, actually published
and available online using the FQS starting page at
http://www.qualitative-research.net/fqs/fqs-eng.htm. Below you will find
the abstracts and also some short information about the conference
"Ethnographic/Observational Market Research" and the workshop
"Qualitative Research in Marketing and Management".
I also would like to use the opportunity to thank you for your interest
and your engagement in FQS: Two years of publishing this online journal
means 6 issues with more than 200 full texts from authors from different
nations and disciplines. About 1,500 colleagues, coming from more than
60 nations, are already subscribed to this newsletter we use to inform
you once a month; at the end of 2001, our server all in all had been
accessed 2,5 Mio times (1 Mio accesses to HTML files). Also in the
future we will try to do our best to support the worldwide networking of
qualitative researchers, to help qualitative research to be acknowledged
as an indispensable methodological part of the social sciences, and to
distribute the empirical results of qualitative research efforts, which
hopefully help to better understand mental, social, and cultural
realities.
