Hi Jeanne, didn't go to the university yesterday, but saw Pat the day before. Am anxious to start some new discussion on, Soc. of Reality. What is reality anyway these days? What we once thought was something, we could count on, that would always be, is now once again, in the face of war, maybe changing all our views, values, morals, and lives once again. The illocutionary discussion on life as we once knew it, were taught about, how to handle it, are once again put to the test of someone else taking our lives and changing it to the point that maybe we need to alter our take on life, as what we thought was concrete, is being compromised, and so then we too, must compromise. The unstable, in limbo feelings are far from comforting, but if we as a universe wish to survive, we must as individuals, countries, religions, etc., not only compromise, but be ever so frugal in how we cast our votes, and where we put our energy for the enhancement of all mankind. Glad to be back in your class. Peace, Marlene
